Find Startups

Head to the Companies tab and use the filter bar to build your search. Common starting points include:

When combining multiple filter values, toggle between AND (all criteria must match — narrows results) and OR (any criteria can match — broadens results). You can also exclude a filter — for instance, show all Fintech companies except those in London.

Once your search is configured, click "Save to Alerts". Name it (e.g. "Series A Climate Tech - Nordics") and Dealroom will notify you every time a new company matching your criteria is added to the platform. Check notifications via the bell icon 🔔.

Dealroom Signal is a proprietary score (1–100) that estimates a company's investment potential by averaging four components. It helps VCs, corporates, and government bodies surface promising companies early — even before they raise or go public.

In the Companies tab, add the Dealroom Signal filter to surface only high-potential companies within your search criteria. Sort by Signal score to see the most promising companies first. Particularly powerful when combined with geography, industry, and funding stage filters.

A stealth startup operates with intentionally low public visibility — minimal marketing, no public product launch, limited information available. They're building, refining strategy, and testing hypotheses before entering the mainstream spotlight. Dealroom's data team actively identifies and tags these companies.

Use the Stealth filter in the Companies tab to surface companies Dealroom has tagged as operating in stealth mode. You can combine this with any other filter — industry, geography, launch year — to find exactly the kind of stealth company you're looking for.

Founder Factories (also called startup mafias) are organisations — typically high-growth companies or unicorns — that disproportionately produce successful founders. Alumni from companies like Stripe, Spotify, or Revolut go on to start a remarkable number of new ventures. Dealroom tracks these networks to help you find the next wave.

Two ways to explore Founder Factories on Dealroom:

Via the Dashboard: Go to your Dealroom dashboard and click Founder Factories to see suggested founders and explore associated networks.

Via the People Tab: Apply filters to view founders with experience at specific companies or unicorns. For example, filter for people who previously worked at Klarna and have recently founded a company.

After setting up your Founder Factory filters in the People tab, click "Save to Alerts" to receive notifications when new founders matching your criteria appear on Dealroom. Ideal for investors, recruiters, and ecosystem builders who want to spot talent before everyone else does.
