How It Works
What is Dealroom MCP?
Dealroom supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — an open standard that lets AI assistants connect directly to external data sources. With Dealroom MCP, tools like Claude and Cursor can access Dealroom's startup, investor, and ecosystem data in real time. Ask questions in plain English and get structured, cited answers without ever opening the platform.
How authentication works
The Dealroom MCP server connects directly to the Dealroom platform using your account credentials. All data permissions are determined by your subscription — the AI assistant can only access data you are entitled to view. Your queries stay within your account's access controls.
