Head to the Investors tab and start filtering. Key filters for finding the right investor include:

Once you've configured your investor filters, click "Save to Alerts" to monitor the space. You'll be notified as new investors matching your criteria are added to Dealroom — useful for tracking emerging funds or niche sector specialists. See the Save Searches guide for detailed steps.

The Top Investors Dashboard surfaces the most active and relevant investors filtered by sector, technology, geography, and funding stage. It's designed for three audiences:

For each investor, the dashboard shows:

• Portfolio size and total deal count
• Portfolio value metrics
• Exits and outcomes data
• Percentage of participation in your selected criteria — enabling side-by-side comparison of investor focus

Use the "Rounds in portfolio companies of" filter to reveal overlapping portfolios and identify common co-investors between funds.

Go to the Investors tab in the left menu and select Top Investors from the available views. Apply your filters and explore.

The Power Law Ranking identifies top VC investors based on portfolio outcomes — not just deal volume. It ranks VCs by the quality of companies they've backed, adjusted for when they invested. The earlier the entry, the higher the score. As Dealroom puts it: "The sooner an investor identifies and supports a winner, the higher their score."

The Power Law dashboard covers 22,000+ investors with a fully explorable interface. Navigate between views including:

• Ranking overview (EMEA and US/Global)
• Top investors by region
• Outcome distribution charts
• Investment activity over time
• Assets under management (AUM) breakdown
• Individual deal history and stage entry points

Use the Power Law Ranking to:

• Benchmark VCs across sectors and regions to see who's genuinely outperforming
• Identify rising funds before they become household names
• Guide outreach for founders targeting investors with proven track records
• Evaluate co-investors based on real outcomes, not brand recognition

The LP Ranking lets you navigate Limited Partners — pension funds, family offices, fund-of-funds — that invest in venture capital, ranked by Dealroom's Power Law Score.

The score is calculated as: Number of VC firms invested into × Average Power Law Score per VC

This rewards LPs who back both a wide number of funds and funds that deliver real outcomes — unicorns, $1B+ exits, $100M+ revenue.

1. Navigate to the Investors section in Dealroom Premium
2. Select the LP Ranking view
3. Toggle between global and regional markets
4. Filter by investor location, investor type, and VC firm count
5. Use keyword search for specific LP profiles
