The Sectors page is your command centre for tracking industry-level VC trends across 600+ categories spread across 20+ pages. Use it to spot where capital is flowing, which sectors are growing fastest, and which industries are producing the most unicorns.
The Sectors Table
Open the Sectors tab directly from the left menu. You'll land on a paginated table listing over 600 industry categories — from broad themes like "SaaS" and "Fintech" down to niche verticals like "Regenerative Agriculture" or "Defence Tech".
Use the search box at the top of the table to jump directly to a category — for example, type "Generative AI" or "Defence" to filter the table instantly. You can also browse all 20+ pages to discover adjacent sectors you may not have considered, or sort any column to surface the top-performing categories.
Click any column header to sort the table ascending or descending. This makes it easy to answer questions like: "Which sectors had the highest VC investment last year?" or "Where is enterprise value growing fastest?" — and quickly surface the categories worth investigating further.
Metrics Explained
The sectors table surfaces six key metrics for each category. Here's what they mean:

| 💰VC Investments | Total venture capital deployed into the sector — a direct proxy for investor conviction. |
| 📊Enterprise Value | The combined estimated value of all companies in the sector. |
| 📈EV Growth | How quickly the sector's total enterprise value is expanding — a leading indicator of future returns. |
Sector Dashboards
Every sector in the table is clickable. Clicking the sector name takes you to a dedicated dashboard built exclusively for that category. This is where the real depth lives — you're no longer looking at a row of numbers, but a full picture of the sector's health and trajectory.
Each sector dashboard contains:
• Recently founded startups — the newest companies entering this space, ideal for early-stage sourcing
• Funding trends — quarterly and annual charts of VC activity in the sector
• Unicorns — all $1B+ companies in the category with their latest valuations
• Latest news — curated articles and announcements relevant to the sector
• Company list — a filterable table of all companies tagged in that category, ready to export or save as a list
Sector dashboards are most powerful when used as a starting point for a new thesis or market map. For example: sort the main table by EV Growth to find the fastest-moving sectors → click into one → review recently founded startups for sourcing leads → save the company list for deeper research. You can also bookmark dashboards directly in your browser to revisit them regularly as a market monitoring routine.
