Top Food Delivery startups to watch

We’ve ranked the top 100 food delivery startups globally to watch based on Dealroom Signal.

Following a record adoption (and VC investment) of food and grocery delivery services in the past 2 years, as economies reopened, many of the companies in the category have been struggling to turn a profit and deliver for investors.

Since 2017, 43% of VC investment went to food delivery companies, and more than half of the foodtech unicorns are in food delivery. Europe counts 35 companies in the list, followed by the United States (25) and Asia (18).

Don’t think of this as a ranking the “best startups” in food delivery, but instead as the top startups to watch based on their fundraising timeline, growth indicators, founding team, and a number of other factors.
