Carver Roboweld, Ajwa Projects debut on BSE SME after $2.99M and bigger raise
What's the deal? Carver Roboweld and Ajwa Projects list on the BSE SME platform on November 4, 2026, after raising a combined US$9.01M. Carver Roboweld's issue was a US$0.38-crore ($2.99 million) all-fresh offering, while Ajwa Projects raised US$5.17M through a mix of fresh shares and an offer for sale.
Why the gap matters: The two issues drew sharply different demand. Carver Roboweld was subscribed 25.80 times overall; Ajwa Projects managed just 1.12 times.
By the numbers: Carver Roboweld saw its qualified institutional buyers portion subscribed 26.33 times and its non-institutional segment 40.39 times. Ajwa Projects leaned on retail, where individual investors booked 1.93 times, while institutional and other non-retail demand stayed weak.
Where the money goes: Carver Roboweld keeps all proceeds from its fresh issue. Ajwa Projects earmarked US$1.27M to repay borrowings, US$1.1M for plant, machinery, and vehicles, US$543.2K for working capital, and US$601.6K for general purposes.
Why now? India's SME IPO pipeline is busy. In September, 38 SME listings raised US$228.7M.
The signal: Investor appetite is selective, not blanket. Recent data also warns against reading oversubscription as a promise of listing gains — SME debuts have been volatile, and strong demand has not consistently prevented first-day declines.
