Who's involved? dotCMS helps compliance-led enterprises manage and scale digital content across brands, regions, and channels. It counts healthcare, financial services, and government organisations among its target customers.

How it works: SaaS Capital lends $2 million to $15 million to B2B SaaS companies with at least $3 million in annual recurring revenue, registered and banked in the US, Canada, the UK, or Ireland. Its borrowing base formula typically runs 5x to 8x monthly subscription revenue.

Why debt? Growth debt lets established software firms raise committed funding without selling equity or ceding control. Companies do not need to be venture-backed or profitable to qualify.

Why now? The deal follows SaaS Capital's $100 million Fund V, closed in October 2025 to lend to recurring-revenue software and subscription AI companies. Since 2007, the firm says it has committed more than $375 million in growth-debt facilities to over 110 clients.

The signal: Specific loan sizes and terms were not disclosed, so the scale is unclear. The round is a modest example of ongoing non-dilutive financing for established SaaS businesses — a steady alternative to equity, rather than a sector-wide shift.
