What's the endgame? Founded in 2023 by IIT Madras alumni Akash Anand, Prajwal Prakash, and Neel Balar, Clueso builds AI agents that learn a company's products, processes, and brand, then create and maintain video across the organisation. The startup, based in California and Bengaluru, will use the funding to scale enterprise go-to-market reach, deepen its agentic layer, and expand editing capabilities.
Who's using it? More than 1,000 companies use the platform to make videos for marketing, customer success, onboarding, and training. Customers include Atlassian, Zendesk, and Ironclad. Clueso says users report productivity gains of over 5x and an 80% reduction in video production costs.
Co-founder and chief executive officer Akash Anand said the company began by helping customer-facing teams build product tutorials faster, then spotted the same problem elsewhere. "Today, Clueso acts as an AI video production team that anyone or any team in the organisation can rely on, handling the work of creating, editing and maintaining videos as the business moves," he said.
Why now? Investors frame video as shifting from static files to assets that update themselves. "With AI, video is evolving from static media files into living, context-aware assets that continuously adapt as business processes and products change," said Vamsi Duvvuri, founder and managing partner at Dharana Capital. "Clueso is building the infrastructure powering this shift."
The signal: At $10 million, the round sits in the top third of comparable deals by size, signalling solid investor conviction in agentic tooling aimed at enterprise workflows.
