Glovo founders back voice-AI startup Flyboard in €1.9M round

What's the deal? Barcelona-based startup FlyboardDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has raised €1.9 million in a pre-seed round to build AI voice agents for small and medium-sized businesses.

The round was led by b2venture, with participation from Kfund and Yellow — the venture fund backed by Glovo founders Óscar Pierre and Sacha Michaud.

Flyboard develops conversational agents that automate complex phone processes. The company doesn't just sell software; it helps clients implement the technology and adapts each agent to their systems and workflows.

Behind the project are Jaime Farrés Rocabert, co-founder of 21 ButtonsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →; Eduardo Álvarez de Toledo, formerly of Boston Consulting GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →; and Maximilian Zoller, who brings commercial experience from Thermondo.

Why now? Voice AI is having a moment as businesses race to automate customer calls. Flyboard is targeting the mid-market, a segment often priced out of costly consultancy projects or dedicated technical teams.

The startup says its in-house AI speeds up building and deploying agents, making a highly personalised service model scalable.

What could go wrong? The hands-on implementation model that Flyboard touts as its edge could prove hard to scale as client numbers grow.

It also enters a crowded voice-AI field where larger, better-funded rivals are chasing the same customers.

The signal: Spain's startup ecosystem is increasingly self-sustaining, with Glovo founders Óscar Pierre and Sacha Michaud channelling their exits into the next generation through their Yellow fund. Flyboard's early traction — over 350,000 calls handled for clients including Grupo Planeta and Dominion — suggests the still early-stage company is already moving voice AI from pitch to production.
