Colombia's Addi raises $85M Series D led by Citius and BTG Pactual
Colombian fintech Addi has closed an $85 million Series D, led by Citius and co-led by BTG Pactual, with GIC and Monashees joining.
The deal marks BTG Pactual's first investment outside Brazil in a growth-stage company. It also signals rising investor confidence in Colombia.
Addi will use the funds to grow its credit platform, strengthen its technology infrastructure, and expand financial products for consumers and merchants nationwide.
Founded in 2018, Addi has been profitable since 2024 and chose to raise to accelerate growth.
The round caps a busy stretch. In April 2026, Addi closed a $150 million structured credit line led by J.P. Morgan — the bank's first warehouse facility for a Colombian company — pushing total debt commitments past $680 million.
The startup also won authorisation from the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia to operate as a regulated entity, opening the door to taking deposits.
The round draws an unusually deep bench for a Colombian late-stage fintech, pairing global funds Citius, GIC, and Monashees with corporate backer BTG Pactual, which is venturing outside Brazil for the first time. With a regulated entity licence in hand and more than $680 million in debt commitments behind it, Addi is positioning itself to move from credit platform to deposit-taking bank.
