ValueMax raises $12.5M in six-month digital securities paper on ADDX
What's the deal? ValueMax GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → (SGX: T6I) closed its Series 014 six-month digital securities commercial paper on November 4, 2026, raising US$11.8M in gross proceeds. The post-IPO debt issuance launched on October 21 and drew what the Singapore-listed pawnbroker and financier called "strong investor demand."
Why now? The latest paper extends a programme that began with ValueMax's CP Establishment Announcement in October 2021, followed by a steady run of issuances through 2026. Series 014 marks another quick re-raise under the same facility.
What's the endgame? The digital securities will list on the ADDX platform on November 5, 2026, giving ValueMax a tokenised channel for short-term funding. The company did not disclose the interest rate, yield, maturity date, or use of proceeds.
Who's in? Two related parties subscribed: Yeah Chia Wei, chief credit and risk officer, took US$146.7K, and executive director Yeah Lee Ching took US$73.3K. Both are children of executive chairman Yeah Hiang Nam; together their US$220K stake is 1.9% of the issue.
What could go wrong? The paper adds a short-term debt obligation maturing in six months, carrying refinancing and rollover risk if market access weakens. The absence of pricing and yield detail also limits any read on funding cost.
The signal: Each new series shows an established issuer leaning on a digital securities platform for routine, repeatable short-term financing. For tokenised debt markets, recurring programmes like this one are how the format moves from novelty to plumbing.
