Gevorkyan refinances €30M in bonds as demand tops issue size

What's the deal? Powder metallurgy maker GevorkyanDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has raised €30 million through a five-year unsecured bond to refinance existing debt. Komerční bankaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → led the issue as lead manager, with Conseq Investment Management acting as co-manager. The bonds carry a fixed 7.39% coupon and mature in 2031.

Why now? The new bonds replace notes issued by Gevorkyan CZ that fall due in 2026, pushing the maturity out by five years. The company said investor demand exceeded the issue, but it kept the size unchanged to stick with its plan to gradually cut debt.

What's the endgame? The refinancing supports a stated shift from investment-led growth toward stronger cash generation and gradual deleveraging. Gevorkyan is growing: H1 2026 revenue rose 18% to €49.8 million and EBITDA gained 9% to €15.0 million.

What could go wrong? The balance sheet remains debt-heavy, with roughly €96 million of total debt and just €410,000 of cash at the end of June. The 7.39% coupon is a meaningful financing cost, and strong demand signals market access rather than improving credit quality.

"Above all, however, we greatly value the trust of our investors, which represents a commitment for us going forward," said Artur Gevorkyan, chairman of the board.

The signal: The deal removes a near-term maturity and buys time, letting Gevorkyan refinance on fixed terms without expanding its debt load as it works toward deleveraging.
