Ex-Swift CIO's Logos raises seed round from VanEck, ParaFi for tokenized-asset plumbing

What's the deal? LogosDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a US startup building an "evidence layer" for digital assets, has raised a seed round from ParaFiDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, VanEckDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, Securitize, and other strategic investors. Co-founded by former Swift chief innovation officer Tom Zschach and ex-SpaceX engineering lead Anthony Rose, the company launched publicly at the Money20/20 USA conference in Las Vegas.

What's the endgame? Logos is building a shared evidence network, accessed via an API, that lets institutions check signed evidence against their policies and get a recommendation to accept, reject, or review an asset. Its initial focus spans reserve evidence for stablecoins, fund evidence for tokenized funds, and continuous monitoring of changes.

Why it matters? "Issuance creates the asset; acceptance creates the market," Zschach told FinTech Futures. The aim is to make diligence — on reserves, redemption rights, custody, and restrictions — reusable, while each institution keeps control of its own decisions.

The round draws notable backers. VanEck is a major asset manager, while Securitize is both an investor and a design partner for tokenized funds and securities. Logos is also working with Paysend on cross-border payments and stablecoins.

Rose, who leads technology as CTO, previously held the same title at Matter Labs and was an engineering leader at SpaceX. "We are deliberately building a small team," Zschach said, adding that AI and programmable assets make it possible "to build a consequential company quickly without a large headcount."

What could go wrong? The product is at testnet stage, with first production workflows targeted for early 2027. Zschach did not disclose the amount raised or the company's valuation, and adoption remains unproven.

The signal: Logos is a bet that institutional activity in tokenized assets is moving toward real settlement and collateral use, raising the value of reusable, verifiable information on reserves and custody. With US stablecoin rules still taking shape, it is positioning as early plumbing for that market — useful if it works, but not yet evidence of scale.
