Norway's Pearl buys Danish SAP consultancy Approxima

What's the deal? Norwegian-owned SAP firm PearlDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired Approxima, a Danish consultancy of 24 employees headquartered in Lyngby, north of Copenhagen. Terms were not disclosed.

What do they do? Both companies work in SAP consulting. Approxima's three founders and partners — Christian Moes, Søren Bjerre, and Thomas Stoltborg — stay on as part of Pearl Denmark's leadership under managing director Ole Mose Nielsen.

Why it matters? The deal gives Pearl Denmark 60 SAP consultants across Aalborg, Aarhus, and Copenhagen, and strengthens its presence on Zealand. Pearl, which runs its Danish headquarters in Aalborg, operates across Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Poland, Latvia, and Singapore.

By the numbers: Pearl says it employs around 500 people and calls itself "leading" in the Nordics. Approxima's customers gain access to one of the region's largest SAP consultancies.

What they're saying: "We have built strong customer relationships and focused on high delivery quality for 12 years," said Thomas Stoltborg, partner and director at Approxima (translated from Danish). "In Pearl we get a strong platform and more colleagues to grow with."

The signal: The acquisition reflects steady consolidation across Nordic SAP services, with Pearl buying scale and cross-selling reach rather than headline-grabbing valuations.
