Primo raises $8M to centralise corporate IT on one platform
What's the deal? French startup PrimoDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has raised $8 million in an early-stage round led by Global Founders Capital and Headline. The company runs a single platform that consolidates a firm's IT operations — hardware purchase and remote management, IT support, software, and identity and access management. It follows a $3.2 million round in April 2023, months after Primo was founded.
What's the endgame? "The goal is to centralise our clients' entire IT fleet from a single tool," said co-founder and chief executive officer Martin Pannier (translated from French). Primo embeds AI agents to automate tasks such as employee onboarding — ordering hardware, configuring computers, and creating access rights.
What's the traction? Primo claims 400 clients, from startups to mid-sized firms, including TheodoDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, Dust, and Skello. It operates in about a dozen countries, with 40% of activity abroad. Its model rests on a SaaS subscription plus licensing, with a small commission on hardware purchases.
Why now? The funding is meant to accelerate growth toward a target of €7 million in annual recurring revenue by the end of 2026. Primo also plans to expand internationally, notably in the US, and to grow headcount. "We're 40 currently; we should be around a hundred by the end of next year," Pannier said (translated from French).
The signal: At $8 million, Primo's round sits in the 90th percentile of early-stage VC deals in French enterprise software, based on 340 comparable rounds. That places it among the larger early bets in a crowded market for IT management tooling.
