What does the company do? Founded in November 2020, Arclight builds the middleware that translates different hardware architectures into usable computing power. It says it is the only company in China spanning the full chain — hardware design tools, program development, and cloud applications — across multiple chip routes.
The product stack: At the hardware layer, Arclight offers quantum chip design and control tools, including EDA and error correction, already used on domestic superconducting chip production lines. Its compiler converts developers' quantum programs into hardware-specific instructions, while its cloud and machine-learning platforms serve finance, pharmaceuticals, energy, and materials clients.

What's the money for? Founder and chairman Ying Shenggang said the round will fund three priorities: deeper quantum-plus-AI integration, recruiting scarce talent in quantum theory and systems software, and joint research on distributed chips and new measurement-and-control architectures.
