The context: The financing brings fundcraft's total raised since its 2021 founding to €40 million, following an €11 million Series A completed in two stages in 2024. Chief executive Julien De MayerDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → previously led fund administration at Rocket Internet and started the company to fix problems he saw with external service providers.
What's the endgame? Fund management involves back-office work such as calculating net asset values, making capital calls, and filing compliance documents. Fundcraft handles this through a single licensed platform that now supports nearly 300 funds and more than 20,000 limited partner subscriptions.
Why now? The company signed as many new clients in the first half of 2026 as in all of 2025, with over half being mid-to-large asset managers modernising their operations. The money will fund fundcraft's move into institutional private equity buyout strategies, more complex than the venture and growth funds it started with.
The expansion: Fundcraft added an AMF-authorised French entity in June 2026, alongside its existing CSSF-licensed Luxembourg operation. The French platform is preparing fund launches targeting over €1 billion in commitments, including ELTIF 2.0 and evergreen structures that widen retail access to private markets.
"We are raising capital to scale a model that is already proving itself with institutional clients facing more complex requirements across Europe," De Mayer said.
The signal: The global fund administration software market was valued at $6.8 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach $14.2 billion by 2034. In a field led by US players such as Carta, Juniper Square, and Allvue SystemsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, fundcraft is betting that dual licences in Luxembourg and France will matter as European reporting rules tighten.
