Uforce eyes $500M Series A at $5B valuation to arm NATO with combat drones
What's the deal? Uforce, a London-based drone startup, is in talks to raise about $500 million in a Series A led by Valor Equity Partners, according to people familiar with the matter. The round would value the company at roughly $5 billion. The financing is not closed and details could change, the people said.
What's the endgame? Uforce brings together Ukrainian producers of unmanned air, sea, and land vehicles, including the makers of Magura sea drones, Nemesis bombers, and counter-drone systems. It aims to offer an integrated combat system that NATO can use as Europe builds up its drone arsenals.
Why now? European drone investment has surged this year as the continent boosts defense funding and seeks strategic autonomy from the US.
