Terra Industries adds $18M in seed extension

What's the deal? Nigerian defence technology startup Terra Industries has raised an additional $18 million, extending its seed round for the second time in 2026. The latest raise brings its total funding to $51.7 million.

Why now? The extension follows Terra Industries' $11.7 million raise in January 2026 and a further $22 million round in February 2026. 8VC and Nova Global participated in both earlier rounds.

What's the endgame? The company is expanding manufacturing, partnerships and international operations beyond Africa while developing autonomous defence systems.
