Terra Industries (also associated with the Terrahaptix brand) is a Nigerian defense-technology company founded in 2024 by CEO Nathan Nwachuku and CTO Maxwell Maduka to design and manufacture autonomous land, air and maritime security systems for African critical infrastructure, powered by ArtemisOS, its unified command-and-control software. Operating from a large robotics factory in Abuja’s Idu Industrial District, Terra’s product suite includes the Archer long-range VTOL surveillance drone, Duma unmanned ground vehicle and Kallon solar sentry towers; the company has cited deployments protecting power plants, mines and other assets and a May 2025 ~$1.2 million hydroelectric-plant security contract. In January 2026 Terra emerged with an $11.75 million seed led by 8VC with Lux Capital, Valor Equity Partners, Silent Ventures, SV Angel, Nova Global and African investors including Tofino, Kaleo and DFS Lab; weeks later Lux led an additional $22 million extension bringing the seed to about $34 million (company later referenced further seed extensions in press). Capital funds manufacturing expansion across Africa, software offices and partnerships such as a joint manufacturing effort with AIC Steel in Saudi Arabia.
