Why now? WHIF lets users build relationships with AI characters through open-ended conversation, with stories that branch based on user choices. Bunker Kids says paying users spend an average of 217 minutes per day on the service, while monthly payments grew an average of 110% over its first nine months.
What's next? WHIF launched in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and the US in October 2025 and now operates in 13 countries, with about 40% of revenue generated overseas. Bunker Kids plans to hire across development, planning, design, and marketing, add multimodal image and video features, and increase overseas revenue share above 60% by year-end.
