What does it do? HomeRun delivers construction and interior materials to contractors and homeowners within 60 minutes, targeting unreliable supply, opaque pricing and last-minute shortages. It was founded by Pukhraj Grewal, who previously co-founded interior contracting startup TornadoDealroom has a profile for this one. Why now? The round follows HomeRun's $6.6 million raise in February 2026. The capital will fund geographic expansion, supply-chain and technology investment, and new categories.
What's the endgame? Grewal wants to build "the country's most trusted platform for building materials", a supply chain he calls "fragmented and inefficient for far too long".
Nexus partner Anand Datta pointed to the business fundamentals behind the deal. "The company is growing rapidly without offering credit and with great unit economics," he said, noting that building materials is a supply chain that "has largely skipped digitisation".
The signal: India's quick-commerce playbook is moving beyond groceries into overlooked B2B categories. HomeRun's follow-on round signals investor appetite for formalising fragmented supply chains where operational depth matters.
