What's the endgame? Doodll aims to shift product-development decisions toward AI and data, covering internal reviews, market prediction, human-fit validation, and cost optimisation in one process. Its differentiator is using large-scale human-body data and 3D persona technology to virtually analyse how well a product suits its user.
A customer event called Makeathon, run on doodll, drew more than 1,000 users. Comfo Labs plans to expand into partnerships with companies and local governments to carry ideas through to market launch.
Prodigy Investment said it rated highly Comfo Labs' potential to grow into an AI platform used in real product development and validation, citing the team's expertise and field experience.
With the funding, Comfo Labs plans to advance doodll's core technology — including sketch-based 3D product generation and 3D persona-based human-fit validation — and expand its B2B business with domestic and overseas manufacturers.
"We will build a product-development ecosystem where diverse ideas reach the market as real, innovative products," a Comfo Labs representative said.
The signal: Investment continues to flow into manufacturing and industrial startups built on AI and data. Physical AI robotics firm Neoacrobotics recently raised a ₩500 million seed round, and hyperspectral imaging startup Spectrantel drew seed funding from Kakao Ventures.
