Superleap raises Rs 36 crore seed to take on legacy CRM giants
What's the deal? SuperleapDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Bengaluru-based enterprise AI CRM startup, has raised Rs 36 crore (about $3.8 million) in a seed round led by Peak XV Partners. The company builds AI-native CRM software for enterprise sales teams and helps large organisations migrate off legacy systems with minimal disruption.
How big is the round? The seed sits in the top 6% of all-time seed rounds for enterprise software startups in India, based on a sample of 771 comparable deals. That places it well above the typical early-stage cheque for the sector.
What's the endgame? Superleap wants to move beyond CRM as a database. "We are building an agentic operating system that can support the entire revenue function with humans and AI agents working together," said cofounder and chief executive officer Subham Kumar Boundia.
Who's behind it? Founded in 2024 by former Unacademy executives Boundia, Alok Maurya, and Saurabh Maheshwari, the startup counts Razorpay, Cars24, MediBuddy, Plum, and Qube CinemaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → among its customers. It serves more than 50 enterprise clients and says it has grown tenfold over the past year.
The strategy: Rather than chasing small businesses first, Superleap targets enterprises directly, with average contract values between $60,000 and $100,000. The fresh capital will fund AI development, go-to-market expansion in India and overseas, and hiring.
The signal: Superleap is betting generative AI reshapes an enterprise CRM market long controlled by Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, and Zoho. "AI is fundamentally changing that, making CRM systems capable of taking intelligent decisions and directly improving revenue outcomes," Boundia said.
