Per its filing with the Registrar of Companies, the board approved the issue of 12,784 preference shares at Rs 26,400 each. Sharrp Ventures will put in Rs 22.5 crore for a 6.19% stake, while Mirabilis Investment Trust contributes Rs 11.25 crore for 3.09%.

What's the endgame? Founded in 2011 by Rahul Tandon, the Jammu-based company is a B2B contract manufacturer for skincare, haircare, fragrance, and cosmetic products. It offers OEM/ODM, private label, formulation, R&D, packaging, and regulatory support to clients including Nykaa, Plum, Purplle, Bare Anatomy, and Ustraa.

The numbers: Naturis grew operating revenue 40% year-on-year to Rs 154 crore in FY25, up from Rs 110 crore in FY24. It stayed profitable, posting a net profit of Rs 12 crore for the year.

Why now? This tranche may be part of a larger raise. An earlier Economic Times report said Naturis was seeking Rs 80–100 crore. Entrackr estimates the round values the company at about Rs 364 crore, or $38 million post-money.

The signal: India's beauty boom is minting winners beyond the consumer-facing brands. As direct-to-consumer players scale, the manufacturers behind them are drawing investor interest of their own.
