Lime buys Neuron's Canadian arm, taking over e-scooters in 12 cities

After a brief transition, Lime will assume operations city by city in the months following the deal and run its own infrastructure under the Lime brand.
Why now? Neuron's orange vehicles have already begun leaving municipalities such as the Region of Waterloo and Red Deer. Cities are now in talks with Lime over whether and how it will take over the rental programs, with deployment timelines and transition details still being worked out.
