Why now? Work conversations increasingly happen on apps like WhatsApp, Signal, WeChatDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, and iMessage, not just sanctioned tools like Slack. Those informal chats sit outside traditional security systems, creating compliance headaches and leaving valuable data untapped.

LeapXpert's Governed Communications Systems acts as a bridge: clients message from their favourite apps while employees reply through Slack, Microsoft Teams, or LeapXpert's own app.

Centralising those chats also lets its AI mine them for insights. The company sells two products — Signals, a dashboard for monitoring client conversations, and Maxen, a productivity assistant for individual employees.

"Much of the world's business today gets done in messaging apps," said founder and chief executive officer Dima GutzeitDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. "But AI can only work with what enterprises can see and govern."

Hundreds of businesses already use the platform, including Lloyds BankDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, SoftBankDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, and venture firm Insight Partners.

The signal: The round marks a vote of confidence in a breakout-stage company that owns all of its clients' communication data — a structural advantage as enterprises look to govern messaging before unleashing AI on it. With Riverwood Capital, an investment fund, leading the deal, LeapXpert now has the firepower to chase regulated buyers in financial services and government across Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
