About VitalFluid
VitalFluid is a Dutch TU/e spin-off that builds plasma-activated water systems so growers can produce an on-site antimicrobial crop-protection product from water, air and electricity, cutting chemical fungicide use without harmful residues. The solution works with existing spray equipment; commercial deployments with UK strawberry growers have largely replaced chemical mould control on more than 100 hectares under multi-year contracts. The company has also explored medical and cleaning applications of plasma-activated water. In August 2026 VitalFluid closed a Series A totalling €17.2 million co-led by Invest-NL, with Alder Tree Investments and existing shareholders Horticoop, BOM, Future Food Fund, Graduate Ventures, Innovation Industries, VDL and Goeie Grutten; the package includes a €2.7 million RVO Innovation Loan.
