The company's hardware has evolved through several generations, with a focus on reducing costs and using automotive-grade components to prepare for mass production. It has received significant funding from investors including Toyota, Sequoia China, and in October 2023, received a $100 million investment from NEOM to establish a regional R&D and manufacturing headquarters in the MENA region.
