Nelo
Mexican BNPL and consumer credit app with Mastercard cards
About Nelo
Nelo is a Mexico City buy-now-pay-later and consumer fintech founded in 2019 by former Uber employees Kyle Miller and Stephen Hebson. The app lets shoppers split purchases into up to eight biweekly payments over 120 days, shop at retailers including Amazon, Mercado Libre, Walmart, and Zara, pay utilities, withdraw cash, and use virtual and physical Mastercard cards. In September 2026 LatamList reported Nelo renewed a US$100 million credit facility with Victory Park Capital to fund its consumer credit book, citing about US$115 million in annualized revenue, one million active customers, three consecutive years of profitability, and roughly US$1 billion in purchase volume by end-2025. The company focuses on digitally underwriting Mexican consumers who want flexible installment credit at online and offline merchants.
