Manifold AI (流形空间), legally Beijing Manifold AI Technology Co., Ltd., is a technology startup focused on developing world models for embodied intelligence. Founded in May 2025 by Wu Wei (武伟), the former General Manager of R&D for the Intelligent Cloud at SenseTime's auto division, the company aims to create a foundational “physical AI” model. Wu Wei was an early core member of SenseTime, where he led the development of its 'Kaiwu' world model, bringing extensive experience in AI commercialization to his new venture.

The company's core technology is its proprietary general spatial world model, named WorldScape. This model is designed to provide AI agents, such as robots and drones, with the ability to understand and predict physical environments from visual data. Unlike traditional AI that relies on massive datasets for imitation learning, WorldScape enables agents to simulate outcomes and make optimized decisions, a capability the company refers to as "Reasoning-Dreaming-Acting". This approach aims to solve long-tail problems in complex scenarios where pre-programmed responses fail. The primary business model involves providing this foundational AI to empower robotics and autonomous systems, with initial applications targeting industrial robots and drones in the low-altitude economy. For instance, its AirScape sub-model allows drones to navigate complex environments like dense forests autonomously.

Manifold AI has attracted significant investor interest since its inception. It secured a seed round shortly after its founding in May 2025, led by Inno Angel Fund and Waterwood SCR, followed by a nearly 100 million RMB angel round in October 2025, led by Jinqiu Fund with participation from Cowin Capital and existing shareholders. By January 2026, the company announced another round of over 100 million RMB, co-led by Legend Capital and Cowin Capital, with strategic investment from Huawei's Hubble Investment, bringing total funding to several hundred million RMB within its first year.
