Dominion Dynamics is an Ottawa defence-technology company building next-generation command-and-control, sensors and autonomous systems for extreme environments, with a focus on Arctic and austere operations. Founded in 2025 by Eliot Pence, the company develops AuraNet, a software platform that fuses Arctic-hardened sensors and communications into a single real-time operating picture, and Scout, an Autonomous Collaborative Platform that extends crewed fighter reach into austere environments. Canadian Rangers used AuraNet with Dominion sensors during Operation Nanook-Nunalivut; the company has opened a Kanata manufacturing facility and a Toronto development office and recruits from Anduril, Tesla, Rheinmetall, Google, Rivian and the Canadian Armed Forces. In June 2026 Dominion closed a $139 million CAD ($100 million USD) Series A led by Georgian, with Valor Equity Partners, Expeditions, Lakestar, OMERS, BDC, RBC, Deloitte Ventures (Canada), JDY Capital and existing investors including BCI, Bessemer Venture Partners, Garage Capital, Golden Ventures and Silent Ventures—described as the largest Series A in Canadian defence history—bringing total capital raised to about $169 million CAD since launch, to accelerate AuraNet and Scout and grow the team past 100.
