Metaview raises $60M Series C, bets its AI recruiter Filmore on the 10x recruiter

Key points

Key takeaways from the Scaling interview with Metaview CEO Siadhal Magos (September 2026):

$60M Series C. Metaview has raised $60m, led by Insight Partners and joined by Intrepid Growth Partners, GV, Seedcamp and Plural, just over a year after its $35m Series B.

From point solution to agentic platform. A year ago the pitch was a point solution managing the data from hiring conversations; today Metaviewis a broader agentic recruiting platform whose agents are trusted because they hold the conversational context other recruiting agents lack.

Scale of proprietary data. Around five to six million hiring conversations flow through the platform each year, plus millions of agent interactions that analyse conversations, source candidates and review applicants — data Magos is clear belongs to customers, not Metaview.

Intelligence is becoming abundant. As models get smarter and faster, an organisation's own proprietary data becomes the scarce, valuable asset, and owning how its people interact with AI agents is the new way to win at hiring.

Filmore, the public launch. The new form factor is a co-worker rather than a workspace: working from Slack, the autonomous sourcing agent researches, finds and engages candidates, follows up and books meetings on the company's behalf while staying true to its brand and tone of voice.

Close to the 10x recruiter. Magos puts Filmore at a four-to-five-fold productivity gain so far, arguing recruiting demands far more trust than coding agents because a mishandled candidate cannot be redo.

Calibration over autonomy. Customers run workflows to teach the agent what good looks like for a candidate and how to communicate as they would, keeping humans in control while giving the agent enough room to operate at scale.

Early results. With a six-to-eight-week lag from adoption to hires attributable to Filmore, feedback is encouraging enough that customers ask whether recruiting is having its Claude Code moment.
