Floqer: a self-maintaining customer data platform for AI agents
Key points
Key takeaways from TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 2026 pitch by Floqer CEO and co-founder Shivam Mahajan (October 2026):
The pitch. Floqer is a self-maintaining customer data platform that enriches B2B data across 80+ sources and stitches every interaction into a millisecond-retrievable timeline so AI agents can answer customer questions without hallucinating on a dirty data foundation.
The problem. Business data is always changing — people change jobs, companies shut down — so CRMs and CDPs fragment and go stale; agents without a clean, connected foundation hallucinate, a problem even HubSpot and Salesforce leadership have put on their own conference stages.
Demo. With Claude connected to the same sources on both sides, the plain agent refused a cross-referencing query it couldn't scope, while Floqer's agent produced the list — proof that the moat is knowing which of hundreds of data providers to use when, for which company.
Three value props. Floqer acts as a data router (procuring 80+ vendors so teams don't have to), builds and maintains cleaning pipelines automatically with agent harnesses learned from two years of hand-building enterprise pipelines, and maintains the customer ontology automatically.
Traction. Customers include TensorWave, Perplexity, AngelList and Wise; they report millions of dollars in generated pipeline and 70%+ time saved on customer research, with revenue growing 14% month over month and expansion driving six-figure contracts.
Open source. Floqer is open-sourcing its product — the proprietary edge is the agent context (which vendor for which company), and the founders believe "the software moat is dead".
Onboarding. General SaaS onboarding is fully automated; for complex enterprise fintech objects (e.g. Wise), Floqer fields an FTE in the loop, with agents paging the team when ingestion fails.
Background. The team of eight works from a hacker house in Toronto; Mahajan and co-founder Zaaheda Islam started in 2024 with a consumer Chrome extension before noticing enterprises cleaning their records one by one.
