L2L Acquires SwipeGuide
- SwipeGuide, an Amsterdam-based software company founded in 2016 by Daan Assen and Willemijn Schneyder, has been acquired by L2L.
- SwipeGuide digitizes work instructions, manuals, and checklists for manufacturing workers, making them accessible on smartphones.
- The platform has been adopted by major companies like Heineken, PepsiCo, and Thermo Fisher.
- L2L uses sensor technology to monitor factory lines and integrates SwipeGuide’s solution to digitize tasks that were previously done on paper.
- Following the acquisition, Schneyder will focus on strategic growth from the U.S., while Assen will remain as general manager for Europe.
- The acquisition will see L2L expand its reach to over 1,000 factories in 90 countries, employing over half a million people.
- Schneyder aims to grow to 1,500–2,000 factories and one million users within two years, with plans to expand in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
- The brand name SwipeGuide will remain intact for the next two years.
