What's the endgame? Fund II targets small and mid-sized firms in electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing, and fire-safety installation work. Renovia aims to drive roll-ups in the trades sector, buying up companies facing succession gaps or struggling to grow alone.

Why now? Japan's installation industry is grappling with ageing owners, no successors, and hiring difficulties. Renovia is raising money and deploying it in parallel, having announced capital and business tie-ups with Moriyama Kogyo and Taishi Electric in September.
