Singapore's Terra Invest backs Abu Dhabi AI firm AIREV

The deal, announced November 4, adds a Singapore investor to AIREV's international backer list and opens cross-border ties between the UAE and Singapore.

What does AIREV do? Founded in 2023, it develops OnDemand, a no-code platform for building, deploying, and managing autonomous AI agents on-device, on-premises, or in the cloud. The platform offers more than 300 pre-built agents and targets enterprises and governments seeking sovereign AI that can run offline.

What's the money for? AIREV plans to expand and develop sovereign AI solutions. Alongside the investment, the two parties are launching joint initiatives with Terra Invest portfolio companies — including Kairos Wealth and Shookra — to apply AIREV's technology in financial services and healthcare.

Why it matters: AIREV already counts Abu Dhabi's Core42Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, Ireland's VentureWave CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. OnDemand serves more than four million users and processed 6.8 trillion tokens in the second quarter of 2026, the company said.

What could go wrong? The round's significance is hard to gauge: AIREV disclosed neither the investment amount nor Terra Invest's exact role, leaving open whether this is a substantial financing or a smaller strategic commitment.

"We invest where capital, policy, and technology meet, and few places embody that convergence as clearly as Abu Dhabi," said Krishan Ratan of Terra Invest (translated from Arabic).

The signal: The deal reflects the UAE's push to attract international capital into advanced technology and position itself as a hub for sovereign AI. For AIREV, hardware partnerships with Intel and Qualcomm and distribution through Redington give the raise a commercialisation context that extends beyond fundraising.
