Ravita Engineering closes $12.2M IPO on NSE Emerge

What's the deal? Ravita Engineering Services has raised US$15.8M through an initial public offering of fresh equity shares listed on India's NSE Emerge platform. Law firm Rajani Associates advised both Ravita and book-running lead manager Vivro Financial ServicesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → on the transaction.

Why go public? The HVAC engineering company priced the issue at US$1.43–US$1.52 per share, raising entirely new capital rather than letting existing shareholders cash out. It plans to spend US$9.51M on long-term working capital and US$3.47M on heavy equipment, with the rest for general corporate purposes.

What's the endgame? Ravita said the proceeds would support execution of its order book, which stood at US$66.7M across 21 projects as of June 30, 2026. That pipeline includes US$16.3M of data-centre work in Maharashtra, a segment chairman Vibhoar Agrawal flagged as a growth area.

Incorporated in 2007, Ravita provides engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning services for HVAC, chiller and cooling systems across onshore, offshore and data-centre sites. Revenue from operations rose to US$37.7M in FY26 from US$1.83M in FY24, with profit after tax of US$3.81M.

What could go wrong? Demand was solid but not spectacular. The issue was subscribed about seven times, led by institutional bids, yet shares debuted at the issue price and closed only slightly higher — a muted endorsement despite the headline subscription figure.

The signal: The deal matters more as a legal-advisory mandate in a smaller SME offering than as a standout IPO event. Still, Ravita's data-centre exposure ties a modest engineering listing to one of the sector's busiest demand themes.
