Me Today raises $1.44M as warrant holders back wellness push

What's the deal? New Zealand health and wellness company Me TodayDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has raised US$1.66M (around $1.44 million) through the exercise of its Series 1 warrants. Holders took up 42.85 million warrants — 90.7% of those on issue — at US$0.04 each. Trusts linked to chairman Grant Baker and chief executive Stephen Sinclair supplied US$1.16M.

Why now? The exercise period for the NZX-listed firm closed on October 30, 2026, completing a capital raise approved at its 2025 annual meeting. The round is the completion of a previously flagged warrant financing rather than a new institutional investment.

What's the endgame? Me Today develops and markets consumer health products. It plans to use the capital for product development, marketing, and international growth, including its push into China and Southeast Asia.

By the numbers: FY26 gross revenue grew 36% to US$5.15M, and the operating EBITDA loss narrowed to US$795.9K. A reported US$1.72M net profit included a US$2.65M gain tied to discontinued operations.

The founding shareholders exercised all their warrants, roughly US$129.4K above their minimum commitment. "By exercising all of our Series 1 Warrants we are providing the Company with additional capital to invest in product development, marketing and international growth," Baker said.

What could go wrong? Continuing operations remained loss-making, and the share issuance lifts the ordinary share count to 138.3 million. That dilution, set against ongoing operating losses, tempers the positive read.

The signal: Insider backing from the chair and CEO signals confidence in the brand as Me Today funds overseas expansion. But with growth capital modest and the business still in the red, the raise buys runway rather than resolving the path to profit.
