Chief executive officer Jeremy Hauk said JTaylor's "deep roots in Fort Worth and strong reputation in the market make this a natural fit as we continue building our presence and capabilities in Texas." JTaylor managing partner Michael Malloy called joining Eide Bailly "a natural next step" that gives clients access to specialized expertise while keeping "the local relationships they know and trust."
The signal: The acquisition fits a broader consolidation wave in accounting, with 108 US accounting and tax deals announced in the first half of 2026 — 47% of them backed by private capital.
