What each side does: Tecflo, based in Little Hulton, Manchester, makes fob detectors, keg couplers, taps, fonts, regulators and cask equipment from a 9,400 sq ft factory. Teqnion is a Nasdaq First North-listed group that buys niche, cash-generative businesses and runs them decentralised.
By the numbers: Founded in 1986 by Geoffrey and Elaine Wood, Tecflo has about 20 employees and over 100 active clients, some of them blue-chip firms with 30-year relationships. It has averaged roughly £4.5 million in annual revenue over the past three years with what Teqnion calls robust margins.

Why it fits: "Skilled people, own-brand products, blue-chip clients and stable profitability: Tecflo is a fantastic addition to Teqnion," said Daniel Zhang, Teqnion's chief experience officer. Wood framed the sale as finding "the right owner, for the sake of the business and everyone in it."
