TKM Grupp buys Evidence Network's Baltic distributors to add €14.1M in revenue
What's the deal? Estonia's Tallinna Kaubamaja Group (TKM Grupp)Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → is acquiring 100% of three Evidence Network companies — in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania — that wholesale security systems. The deal was announced in October 2026; terms were not disclosed.
What each side brings: The Evidence Network companies distribute for brands including PanasonicDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, BoschDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, DahuaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, and Schneider Electric, and generated €14.1 million in revenue and €0.7 million in profit in 2025. TKM already owns Walde AS, an Estonian security wholesaler it bought in 2023, which posted €3.2 million in revenue and €0.25 million in profit last year.
What's the endgame? TKM wants to turn the combined business into a pan-Baltic distribution platform spanning Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. To support that, it has set up a Latvian subsidiary, Walde SIA, registered on October 16, 2026, with Walde board member Sander Sasi at the helm.
Why now? Security has been one of TKM's fastest-growing segments, with revenue up 20% year-on-year in the first half of 2026. Buying established distributors across all three Baltic states accelerates the group's reach far beyond Walde's current scale.
What could go wrong? Closing depends on approval from the Competition Authority. The segment also remains loss-making, posting a €0.3 million pre-tax loss in the first half of 2026, so profitability is not yet assured.
TKM says the acquired businesses will continue unchanged, with no workforce cuts tied to the deal.
The signal: The deal reflects steady consolidation in Baltic security-equipment distribution, as regional players bundle multiple brands under one roof. If the pan-Baltic platform holds together, TKM could lock in a dominant wholesale position across the region.
