Noewe Accounting raises €500K to speed up small-business bookkeeping with AI

What's the deal? Noewe Accounting, a Lithuanian accounting startup within Lewben GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, has raised €500,000 ($556,328) in a round led by Belgium-born, Lithuania-based investor Philip Van Goethem. The company builds AI-native accounting services for small and medium-sized enterprises, aiming to shift the work from data entry toward financial and tax insights.

What's the endgame? Noewe wants to fix a familiar problem: financial data reaches managers too late. With traditional firms, processing invoices, posting to the ledger, and preparing reports can take weeks — leaving decision-ready numbers available only a month later.

Automated data collection and AI will shorten the time from a transaction to its appearance in management reports. The fresh capital will fund technology and the service model, laying the groundwork for expansion in Lithuania and other EU markets.

What's the investor's role? Van Goethem plans to contribute beyond capital, joining the development of technology and commercial growth. "I see significant potential for this model in Lithuania and other European Union markets," he said (translated from Lithuanian).

Why now? The deal lands as AI-driven accounting draws European capital. In September 2026, Berlin's Integral raised €18 million to expand AI-based accounting and tax services, and the Netherlands' NenoDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → raised €6.6 million for a similar model.

What could go wrong? Noewe's round is far smaller than those peers, and its pitch — delivering finance-director-level analysis to smaller businesses — is unproven at scale.

The signal: Even a modest raise shows investors are backing automation-led, specialist-supervised accounting. The bet is that routine bookkeeping becomes machine work, freeing professionals to turn data into decisions.
