Ex-Revolut founders raise $70M for AI wealth platform Nevis

What's the deal? Nevis, a New York startup building an AI operating system for wealth management, has raised $70 million in a Series B led by EQT VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. The round brings total funding to $110 million since the company launched in October 2024 and values it at $500 million, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Existing backers Sequoia Capital, ICONIQ, and Ribbit Capital all expanded their commitments. EQT Ventures partner Carolina Brochado joins the board.

What's the endgame? Founded by three former Revolut executives, Nevis bundles CRM, meeting intelligence, financial planning, and custodial workflows into one AI platform. Its agents handle operational work end-to-end, freeing advisors to take more meetings and serve more clients.

By the numbers: Nevis says revenue grew more than 25x in 2026, while assets on its platform rose from $50 billion to $700 billion, adding roughly $75 billion a month. Its roughly 20 customers include Focus Financial Partners, IEQ Capital, and United Capital. The growth figures are self-reported.

Why now? The industry faces a capacity crunch as advisors retire. McKinsey projects a shortfall of about 100,000 advisors by 2034, even as baby boomers prepare to pass nearly $100 trillion to heirs through 2048, per Cerulli Associates.

What could go wrong? Broad deployment is still early. A September Vanguard survey found compliance and implementation hurdles persist, even as 72% of advisors say they want more time for client relationships.

The signal: The round reflects a shift from AI pilots toward full workflow automation in wealth management, with rivals such as ModeraDealroom has a profile for this one.
