Andersen Group buys UK tax arm in 16-deal, $134M expansion push

What's the deal? Andersen Group (NYSE: ANDG) has completed its acquisition of Andersen Tax Limited in the UK, the company said. The UK business will now operate as part of the publicly traded firm. Terms were not disclosed.

What each side does: Andersen is a US-based provider of independent tax, valuation, and financial advisory services, with a global platform spanning more than 180 countries, over 3,000 partners, and 50,000 professionals. The target is its UK arm, giving the parent direct ownership in one of the world's major financial centers.

Why now? The deal is part of a rapid buying spree. In 2026, Andersen Group has signed 16 transactions representing roughly $134 million in annualised revenue, all expected to close in the fourth quarter.

What's the endgame? Chairman and chief executive officer Mark L. Vorsatz called the UK "a key part of our long-term growth strategy." The company says it will keep investing there by adding talent, capabilities, and complementary businesses across tax, consulting, and its broader platform.

What changes? Andersen expects the move to deepen client relationships, expand cross-selling, and strengthen its ability to serve complex multinational clients across Europe and beyond.

The signal: The UK deal fits a broader consolidation strategy that blends organic growth, acquisitions, and the integration of firms onto Andersen's global platform — a bid for scale in advisory services as cross-border tax demands grow.
