Try Dealroom →, a Milan-based technology company that builds proprietary AI solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. The deal, signed in September 2026, was carried out through Lucient Group, and terms were not disclosed.

Try Dealroom →, founded in 2011, operates as a system integrator and software house with expertise in AI, employing around 80 professionals across two entities — Intranet.aiDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, which builds AI-enabled applications, cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, cybersecurity and managed services.

Lucient is the technology platform QuadrivioDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →'s fund created in the first half of 2026 to aggregate Italian companies in digital services and AI. What's the endgame? Quadrivio wants to build a group with more than €100 million in revenue. With Dev4Side, Lucient reaches around €40 million in revenue, with year-on-year growth and double-digit margins.

Why now? The acquisition marks the first step in the growth plan announced when Lucient launched earlier this year. It deepens the platform's focus on proprietary technologies, including AI and agentic AI built natively on Microsoft platforms.

Dev4Side's founders are reinvesting in Lucient's capital alongside existing shareholders and keeping their managerial roles, a structure meant to preserve management continuity.

The strategy: The fund invests along two lines — AI Enablers, which back companies helping others adopt AI, and Vertical AI Applied, which targets companies using AI to reshape their business models. Microsoft is the fund's technology partner.

The signal: The deal reflects a wider push to consolidate fragmented national tech-services markets into scaled, AI-focused platforms. By rolling up specialist Italian firms under one roof, Quadrivio is betting that integrated AI capabilities — not standalone consultancies — will define the next phase of enterprise digital transformation.
