Greentech Hydrogen closes first tranche of $631K private placement

What's the deal? Greentech Hydrogen Innovations Corp.Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Vancouver-based hydrogen infrastructure technology company, has closed the first tranche of a non-brokered private placement, raising US$656.3K. It issued 4,475,000 units at US$0.15 each, with each unit comprising one common share and one two-year warrant exercisable at US$0.29.

What's the endgame? The company is building its Hydrogen-of-Things platform, an intelligence layer for hydrogen infrastructure. It combines patent-pending storage and distribution technology with digital monitoring, data analytics, and artificial intelligence, and is designed to work with both new and existing hydrogen assets.

Where's the money going? Greentech plans to use the proceeds for general working capital. It paid finders' fees of US$13.6K in cash plus 92,750 finder's warrants in connection with the placement.

What's next? Securities issued under the placement carry a four-month-and-one-day hold period under Canadian securities laws, expiring February 15, 2027. The warrants include an acceleration provision if the share price holds at or above US$0.37 for 10 consecutive trading days.

The signal: The raise sits at the small end of the funding spectrum, in roughly the bottom 12% by size. For early-stage hydrogen infrastructure firms, modest private placements remain a common way to fund working capital while developing unproven technology toward commercialisation.
