What changes for customers? Aventum says its clients keep the same support team while gaining the wider group's tools. "For our customers the step is a clear gain," said Weyerke, framing it as a milestone in Aventum's "1digital" strategy to position itself as a central digitalisation partner for mid-sized manufacturers.
The signal: The deal reflects steady consolidation in Germany's mid-market ERP sector, as acquirers assemble broader software suites around manufacturing customers and layer on cloud hosting and AI. For NTR, buying a specialist with deep manufacturing know-how and long-standing client relationships is a faster route into the upper mid-market than building from scratch.
