Try Dealroom →, an AI-native software platform for sports and fitness businesses, has raised €2.2 million in a seed round led by LaunchHub Ventures and BrightCap VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. The Bulgaria-based startup was founded roughly a year ago by OfficeRnD founder Miroslav Miroslavov and former colleague Martin Kirov.

What's the endgame? 1club builds a modern operating platform for sports and fitness clubs, with a planned consumer layer where people can discover and book activities. The round, closed in August 2026, will fund expansion and marketing across the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, and Singapore, plus team growth and product development.

Why now? Miroslavov, who remains chairman of OfficeRnD, saw a sector still running on dated software. "Booking classes, courts or different sports activities is still technologically far behind," he told The Recursive. He drew on the coworking playbook he built at OfficeRnD, which grew to around 3,000 customers across more than 150 countries.

Speed over bootstrapping: As a second-time founder, Miroslavov could have bootstrapped longer but chose to raise. "We decided it was better to move as fast and aggressively as possible," he said. "This isn't a lifestyle business that we want to run with three people for 15 years."

The signal: At €2.2 million, 1club's round sits in the 92nd percentile of all-time seed deals for sports startups in Bulgaria — a sign of investor appetite for experienced founders tackling overlooked, software-starved verticals.
