Unveilr AI raises $1.74M pre-seed from AJVC to chase AI search visibility

What's the deal? AI search and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) startup Unveilr AIDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has raised US$2.27M in a pre-seed round led by AJVCDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. The company helps B2B and consumer brands generate qualified leads through traditional search engines and AI platforms including ChatGPTDealroom has a profile for this one. What's the endgame? Unveilr AI combines traditional search engine optimisation with AEO. Its proprietary AI agents monitor a brand's visibility across AI engines, flag queries where competitors appear, and map the sources those engines cite. SEO and AEO specialists then adjust content, technical setup, and brand authority to improve the odds of appearing in AI-generated answers.

Why now? The company, founded by Sanditya Srivastava and launched in February 2026, is building for a shift in how consumers discover businesses. It says buyers increasingly rely on AI platforms and GoogleDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →'s AI Overviews for recommendations, where an answer may name only two or three brands.

By the numbers: Unveilr AI claims early traction. For an Indian B2B legal-services platform, it says it lifted AI-sourced traffic about 4.7 times and leads five times, with roughly an 80% rise in ChatGPT citations. For one direct-to-consumer brand, organic search now drives about 27% of total revenue, according to the company.

“A buyer today asks ChatGPT which lawyer, clinic or software to choose and gets two or three names back,” Srivastava said. “If a brand isn't one of them, it has lost that lead before its website ever loads.”

What's the money for? The capital will fund engineering capacity and a sales team as Unveilr AI grows across India, the UAE, and the US. It plans to expand its AI agents while building a sales organisation in each target market.

Its longer-term focus is on AI agents that can research, compare, and eventually buy on behalf of consumers. “AI has become the new way to search,” said AJVC's Aviral Bhatnagar, pointing to the startup's “strong adoption in our large AJVC portfolio.”

The signal: At $1.74 million, the round sits in the smaller tier of pre-seed deals, but it bets on a real behavioural shift — AEO emerging as a discipline as buyers lean on AI assistants over blue links. How brands rank in a machine's three-name answer may become the next search battleground.
